This is the first posts drop location. We will be transporting the 4X4X8 posts to their locations and digging them 2ft in. Then move to the next drop zone and continue until we are done! \nTools needed: measuring tape (to measure the hole)\, portable drill (to hand the maps frames)\, Post hole diggers (we have one\, but need more)\, Digging bar (we have one but could use more) if someone has an Auger it would be best. \nPlease note: There is no age restriction or tools must to come help out. everyone is welcome. \nBring your own: Gloves\, Water and long pants. \n@Christian Campbell was kind enough (again) to swing by Home Depot that day to pick up the posts. \nPlease text me at 8034151575 letting me know you will be coming and if you have any tools you can bring.

DESCRIPTION:Nov. 14\n9:00 to 4:00\nMountain Island Park Trail \nWe are building the final two bridges on the New River Trail and would like to finish installing the remaining fencing along the river. This will complete the new 1.25 mile River Trail. Come help bring this project across the finish line. \nGloves\, water and snacks. We will have tools but if you have portable power tools that would be helpful. \nWe will be working right off the CTT (around the 1.25 mile marker). If you are interested in helping send me a message and I will let know where to park closer to the worksite. Otherwise\, park at the main gate and ride (or walk) to the work site. \nThanks in advance for your support and assistance. 🙂

DESCRIPTION:Meet at the GREEN parking lot at Beatty park. \nPlease let me know via text that you will be coming at 8034151575 \nWe will be focusing on 3 locations that are close to each other. All of which are at the part of the trail that will be called the “earth is flat”.\nIn priority\n(1) We will need to remove/rebuild and secure the oldest berm in the trail. Some say was hand built by the original and first trail coordinator.\n(2) build a new berm in a 180 degree turn close by. Hudson is leading that build.\n(3) install the missing 2*4 on the TB bridge.\n(4) (stretch goal) hack some roots at the beginning of Chuck Norris. \nTools needed.\nDirt collecting and transportation (for every pair they will need wheelbarrow\, spades\, shovels)\nBerm building (tampers/stump\, water\, flat shovel)\nFinish the bridge (drill\, saw\, wood skrews) \nI will take care of the wood needed for the bridge\, post hole digger and a rake. \nAs always bring your gloves and water. \n  \n  \n  \n

I will be out this weekend 9/12 and 13 getting the runners for the bridges put in place and cleaning up the machine cut. Hope to see you Saturday. We be starting at 9:00. Meet at the ctt bridge #4.
